Money Money

Hmm. wE|^'s comments made me ponder for a moment.. (this, however, is not directed at you.. )

When it comes to the money issue, the cool answer would always be "Money is not important to me".. why why why? Is it real? Admitting that money is important would come across as being preoccupied with money? Why be afraid to admit that money plays a very big part in the things we are able to do today? Don't we go out and work for money in the next 40 years to come? Why then are we fighting for a good degree? Why are we fighting to climb the corporate ladder? If money is not important to us, why waste that time and just go do things we want to do? Simply because without money we can do nothing much, especially in Singapore, or any part of the world today. I am not saying money is everything, but without money you won't have much anyway. And sometimes, when you can have more, why settle for less? Perhaps you can let your family enjoy staying in a bigger house, driving them around in a bigger car?

One last question, if money is not important to you, why not empty your bank account into mine?
